Abstract
This document specifies the test methods to be applied to a power operated door, gate or barrier to demonstrate compliance with the requirements specified in prEN 12453:2005. In particular it specifies the method of measuring the forces developed by a power operated door, gate or barrier. It applies to any power operated door, gate or barrier covered by prEN 12453:2005. This document does not apply to power operated doors, gates and barriers which are manufactured before the date of publication of this document by CEN.
