NA 005 Building and Civil Engineering Standards Committee

The Building and Civil Engineering Standards Committee is an organ of the DIN Deutsches Institut für Normung e.V., the German standards organization, in accordance with the DIN Statutes. The committee is responsible for considering all proposals for standardization in the field of building and civil engineering and for processing such proposals whenever there is a legitimate interest in standardization and guaranteed funding is available to cover the associated operating costs incurred by the committee. In addition to national standards, the Building and Civil Engineering Standards Committee participates in European and international standardization in its field of work. It is also responsible for promoting the preparation and application of the relevant standards.
