Dangerous substances
WG 6, doing liaison work only, has another type of work programme being frequently updated. WG 6 has the following general plan of action (in brief): - make an inventory of materials within the scope of CEN/TC 227 but planned to be standardized by other CEN/TCs; - select the CEN/TCs to be contacted by WG 6 (the rest to be contacted by other working groups of CEN/TC 227); - initiate formal liaison, collect information (drafts, standards) and make an assessment that it meets the requirements of CEN/TC 227; - recommend additional requirements to be approved by CEN/TC 227 and forwarded to the relevant liaison TC as a proposal.
